The titles are good, but wish the attitudes towards homemakers was also as good. Whether a woman works outside the home or stays at home, she is a homemaker as her earnings are contributed to the home kitty. Even a working woman is a homemaker as she has to carry on the domestic tasks after coming home from work.

Even though political correctness rarely changes anything, one has to agree that homemaker does sound much much better than housewife given how the latter has a certain level of degradation attached to it...

Being in my early 20s, I have to admit I’m still my mum’s lil girl and I really cannot thank her enough for choosing to stay at home to take care of us even though I have been the first one to encourage her to widen her horizons now that me and my kid bro are way past the age where we’d require too much attention...

Most of my aunts still juggle between their jobs and their homes but I’ve never really seen them complain about the workload... rather they only seemed so happy to go back to their jobs after their kids grew up a little...

I really salute women for making their own mark as home makers and as career women...

And even though I myself would love to work even after I had kids, I know I wouldn’t have any regrets if I stayed home with them either!!!

Sumhow the actual credit has never been given to housewife, not even by husband and children though they forget that their daily life soothening comes from mother or wife only.She does’nt even have time to fall sick.

They are the unsung heroines but unfortunately the due is still due!!!
