"Many Lives Many Masters"- Dr. Brian Weiss "A MUST READ"
Anupama Satpathy , New Delhi: May 11 2009

Just now finished reading this really inspiring book called “Many Lives Many Masters” by Dr. Brian Weiss. This book reinstates the fact of reincarnation. It reiterates the basic wisdom with which to lead our lives. We all know of it , we’ve all heard about it but we fail to follow it.

The wisdom of having patience, forgiveness, giving up vices all the pearls that we have read but never followed are there. As Indians we all know of the spirit being eternal and taking different forms, as Sri Krishna said in “Gita”, but to hear it from the head of the Psychiatry division of a great teaching hospital in US comes as a reveleation.

We take birth in order to learn a particular lesson that is essential for the development of our spirit, if we fail to learn it in this birth then we have to take another birth. We are all familiar with the term “pichle janam ke karm” But after reading this book it is not something that our grandmoms said in answer to all our questions on death and dying.

Believe me so many things made so much more sense after reading this book. It is definitely a soul searching and a soul stirring book.

One very interesting fact which this book highlighted was that one usually takes birth with atleast a few familiar spirits. Like the people around you were there even in your previous birth but with different context or different relation, that is why you some times feel an affinity towards a person you have just met or an aversion for that matter. Reminds you of the term “pichle janam ka rishta”
Boy wouldn’t I love to know what “certain” people in this birth were previously.

Jokes apart it is definitely an extremely gripping book and a must read for all.
